Dog Park Rules
OAKSIDE COMMUNITY PARK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INJURIES TO DOGS, THEIR OWNERS/HANDLERS, OR OTHERS THAT USE THE DOG PARK. THIS AREA IS TO BE USED FOR DOGS AND OWNERS/HANDLERS ONLY.

Eligibility:
- All dogs must be spayed or neutered.
- All dogs must be healthy, licensed and vaccinated.
- Dogs in heat are not permitted.
- Dogs under four (4) months of age are not permitted.
- Dogs over 35 pounds are not permitted in the small dog area.
- Dogs less than 35 pounds are not permitted in the large dog area.
- Aggressive dogs are strictly prohibited.
Responsibility:
- Owners/ handlers are solely liable for injuries or damage caused by their dogs.
- Waste must be collected immediately and placed in the proper trash receptacles.
- Dogs must be leashed when entering and leaving the dog park.
- Owners/ handlers must carry a leash at all times.
- Owners/handlers must be present in the dog park and maintain control of their dog(s) at all times.
- Anyone under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- For safety reasons, young children should not enter the dog park.
- No more than (3) dogs per handler.
- Food and treats (human or dog) are not recommended inside the dog park.
- Glass containers are not permitted.
- Strollers, bicycles and children’s toys are not permitted.
- Owners/ handlers are asked to stop their dog(s) from digging and fill holes immediately.
- Owners/ handlers must supply their own water and water dish.
- Alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited.
